Tea and Jonesboro History “Blue and Grey Tea” First Saturday
By Reservation Only, two weeks in advance.
We’re serving up Tea and History this month at the Greenhouse. We invite you to join local Historians and Local Members of the United Daughter’s of the Confederacy who will tell you stories of what was going on in 1864, just prior to the Battle of Jonesboro which took place on August 31.
A “Proper Confederate Tea” will be served at the customary 4 o’clock in the afternoon to the sounds of authentic Southern tunes, featuring a Selection of Delicate Tea Sandwiches, Pastries, and Home-Made Deserts, your Selection from our Imported Teas.
All for $ 20.00 per person.
