Begun in 1878 and completed in 1879, The Greenhouse – with it’s towering gables and splendid porches has a quality of character distinguished by original charm  and showcase interiors. In 1879 it was described “… the grandest house from Atlanta to Macon”

The mansion home is historically known as the Looney – Haines– Smith House, and is on the           Historical Jonesboro Driving Tour.

The Second Floor of the mansion is now a Bed and Breakfast and has visitors and guests from around the world.

The Greenhouse is proud to host many Charity and Community Events on the Gardens and Grounds.

There’s always ’something going on’ at the Jonesboro Greenhouse.
